Microsoft and Google at War Still?

Google has been upsetting some major tech players with their policy of making vulnerabilities public information after the offending technology provider gets a 90 day warning of the flaw or glitch.  The latest company to be aggravated by this policy is Microsoft.

CIO Magazine has an informative article on the topic - in it there is a quote that give an idea how Microsoft is feeling about Google's policy.

"Although following through keeps to Google’s announced timeline for disclosure, the decision feels less like principles and more like a ‘gotcha,’ with customers the ones who may suffer as a result," wrote Microsoft’s Chris Betz on a company blog. "What’s right for Google is not always right for customers. We urge Google to make protection Relevant Products/Services of customers our collective primary goal."
