What we're Looking for:
- Ability to work independently in a matrix organization
- Highly advance technical knowledge on technologies/services such as LAN, WAN, MPLS, DMVPN, TCP/IP, switches, hubs, routers, network protocols, PBX, voice and data, VPN, VLAN, 802.1x, wireless controllers, Checkpoint Firewalls, VoIP, OSPF, QoS, MPLS, and enterprise 802.11 as implemented with Cisco equipment
- Highly advance knowledge and experience in analyzing, troubleshooting, and investigating information security incidents from a variety of reporting platforms such IPS/IDS, NAC, IPSec VPN, DLP, SIEM, and vulnerability monitoring systems
- Advance knowledge of computer applications and development
- Advance knowledge of project management and infrastructure services delivery
- Broad knowledge in troubleshooting of Windows Server, Linux, Certificates, Biometric devices, Active Directory administration, and mobile devices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with the ability to interface and influence at multiple organizational levels and escalation appropriately
- Excellent relationship-building and ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical terms
- Organized and able to function successfully in a team environment
- Expert in gathering relevant information systematically, consider a broad range of issues or factors, grasp complexities and perceive relationships among problems or issues; use accurate logic in analyses
- Knowledgeable in MS Project
- Leadership skills
Requirements:
- Starting salary $60,000 (TBD)
- Bachelor’s degree
- Certifications in the following (preferred but not required): Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate and Virtualization, Cisco, and/or Office 365
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Information Technology and Service
Your Responsibilities:
- Responsible for high level network planning, design and optimization activities
- Develop strategies and direction for network and related IT infrastructure solutions using current and emerging technologies
- Participate in, plan and recommend network and related IT technology asset architectures and recommends new/emerging technology for application into the enterprise
- Provide daily operations support and maintenance for network and related information technology assets
- Install, configure, and maintain network and related technology infrastructure environments
- Schedule installations and upgrades and maintain them in accordance with established IS policies, procedures and SLAs
- Act as Lead in the process of developing, testing and implementing interfaces
- Perform analysis required to define reporting requirements. (e.g., Performance, Capacity, Change management)
- Proactively monitor network and related system information technology assets, assessing and making recommendations for improvement to provide stable, dependable technology asset services and provide ongoing trend analysis
- Provide customer and peer training on network and related technology infrastructure toolsets, processes and procedures as required
- Take lead role in projects, architecture and support (Technology Subject Matter Expert, Tier 3 resource)
- Provide cost benefit analysis for adoption of new technologies or services
- Develop short-term and long-term work plans supporting the strategic goals

Chicago Post:
- Base salary plus bonuses, based on certifications and experience.

- Starting salary of $7-9/hr, to be discussed and assessed with the management.
